For Families

Knight Projex for Families

Learn what families can expect during the Knight Projex eleven-week journey and how to support change while protecting the program’s private circle.

Support without taking over

Families can be a powerful part of change. The healthiest support is steady, truthful, and patient. Encourage attendance. Ask what mission the candidate is working on. Notice kept commitments. Let the candidate own the work instead of rescuing them from every hard consequence.

Eleven weeks will not solve every family problem. It can create a shared language for responsibility, forgiveness, boundaries, and the next right step.

Protect the circle

The private circle gives candidates room to speak honestly. Family support does not include asking for somebody else’s story or pressing a candidate to repeat what another person shared.

*"What’s shared in the circle stays in the circle."*

Confidentiality never means hiding an immediate safety concern. Facilitators explain the ground rules clearly. For program questions, contact Knight Projex. To understand the pathway, read about the three ranks.
